It was time for upgrading the luggage capacity of my Brompton. For its weight and grandpa-look I do not like Brompton’s rear rack. By now I was cycling with a backpack every day. In fact, even wearing biking clothes and using a backpack with a highly sophisticated venting system I dreamed about a more comfortable way of cycling. Being committed to Ortlieb bags the plan was to adapt a standard Brompton front carrier frame to hold an Ortlieb bag. The advantage: As most of you I do already have an Ortlieb bag.

- (knife)
- rule
- pen
- saw

- 4x4mm rivets and rivet gun

Have fun tuning your Brompton!
