Using the Brompton at any weather results in early dying chains. Although the Brompton comes equipped with a mud guard wing you shovel a lot of water onto the chain that you can even watch the chain throwing the water back. The solution is qhick and easy. As I like the mud guard wing that comes with the Brompton I purchased another one for 5€ in the store around the corner, trimmed it and riveted it to the original wing. Took 10 minutes and will hopefully significantly prolong the lifetime of my chains…
